How much weekly exercise do you need for beneficial effects to kick in? Well, it’s not as much as you think!

According to a study published in the International Journal of Cardiology: “Twelve minutes [per week] of low-volume HIIT per week leads to improvements in central arterial stiffness and cardiovascular health in inactive individuals with obesity and [Type 2 Diabetes].”

A prior study also found beneficial effects of HIIT on blood glucose and cardiometabolic health. It’s an excellent read!
